The Target team at JKR brought me on board for a few months to help create new food packaging designs for over 30 SKUs.
Working closely with the designers and directors on individual SKUs, I provided high-end retouching to the pre-shoot comp images. The goal was to make the stock image composites look as good as possible to help streamline feedback before proceeding to the shoot.
The images from the final shoot were so close to the original composites that JKR brought me on again to make the finishing touches to the final images.
The Pringles team at JKR asked me to mock up a high- fidelity comp for Pringles' Tikka Masala chips. It was important that the image focused on the flavor and avoided looking like a serving suggestion. The art direction called for an explosion of flavor—a dynamic Pringles "pop."
I was provided with a sketch and stock image files to mock up the composite. The build required shaping the elements into the iconic Pringles silhouette, creating realistic lighting and shadows, and color grading.
We worked together through two short rounds of revisions and the client was very happy with the result.
